Chemical Disposal Statement

April 7, 2016

On Friday, April 8, the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality and Oregon State Police Hazardous Device Technicians will be at Heppner High School to dispose of some chemicals. According to Kevin DelGrande, OSP Hazardous Device Technician, “We are taking a proactive approach to remove and dispose of chemicals from the campus that were no longer needed and could become hazardous in the future.”

Irrigon Elementary Battle of the Books Team Advances to Regionals

Morrow County School District and Irrigon Elementary School are proud to announce they are sending a team to the Oregon Battle of the Books regional competition at Blue Mountain Community College in Pendleton on Saturday, March 5, 2016. After winning their school competitions in the 3rd – 5th grade level, the team advanced to the regional tournament. This will be the second time in the history of Irrigon Elementary that a team has attended the regional tournament.

The staff at Irrigon Elementary is very proud of all our Battle of the Books competitors and wishes this team the best at the regional competition!
